Portier has been selected as a guidance solution for the new undergroung parking garage built in Tampere University Hospital (Tampere, Finland). Two level parking facility opens in May 2018 and it has over 400 spaces that will serve mainly visitors and patients but it has also other functions as ambulances and taxis will have their loading and pick-up points inside the parking garage. Mixed use requirements were one of the key inputs during the design and selection of the most suitable parking guidance solution. Our ultrasonic Portier ParkSensor system was selected as it provides the best possible accuracy and customer experience with minimal operational intervention. We were obviously delighted to see that Portier was able to deliver another perfect match in a typically complex and challenging hospital parking.
